Hometown: New Orleans, LA Age: 29 Occupcation: Sales Engineer Favorite technique: Flipping heavy
cover / grass fishing Primary strength: Flipping / pitching Secondary strength: Power fishing with
spinnerbaits and crankbaits in shallow water Biggest challenges: Multiple day events
continue to challenge me, but the more I fish, the more I improve. However as
I continue applying the basics, I see this as merely a temporary hurdle.
Rivers are also challenging, but as the more I understand current, the better
I fish rivers. Boat / motor: Skeeter 20i / Yamaha 250
HPDI My hero: My Dad because he taught me
about respecting the talents of others at a young age. I have always enjoyed
and admired those who excel at what they do because they work hard. Angling hero: Tim Horton, because when
he finds fish and wins a tournament, he doesn’t give the other anglers a
chance. Home lake: Lake Catouache near the
Bayou Segnette boat launch, but the beauty of New Orleans is having three
great fisheries within 30 minutes of each other. Favorite lakes: Carnarveron- I always
manage to catch solid sacks and have a great time doing it. Toledo Bend -
Toledo has been challenging, but I have caught some good fish here and it is
a great place for learning deep structure. Least favorite: I accept the challenge
anywhere, although I tend to struggle when I am fishing deep lakes over
multiple days when limited practice happens. |
